As we continue to invest in our future, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Finance to join our Executive Leadership Team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional who wants to play a strategic leadership role within a dynamic organization. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Finance is a trusted advisor who helps shape the Club's future through sound financial leadership, long-term planning, operational support, and organizational excellence.

Unlike a traditional Controller position, this role combines financial leadership with strategic planning, budgeting, human resources oversight, corporate administration, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Financial Leadership

· Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, reconciliations and cash management.

· Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements, forecasts and financial analysis.

· Coordinate the annual external audit and regulatory reporting.

· Monitor departmental financial performance and support department heads in achieving budget objectives.

· Oversee member billing, collections, cash flow and internal controls.

· Manage insurance programs and financial risk.

Strategic Planning & Business Support

· Lead the Club's annual operating and capital budget process.

· Develop long-term financial models and business plans.

· Prepare financial reports and presentations for the Board of Directors and Finance Committee.

· Support financing initiatives, banking relationships and capital planning.

· Oversee procurement, vendor management and contract administration.

· Lead finance-related technology initiatives and administrative modernization.

· Analyze key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve operational performance and profitability.

Human Resources & Administration

· Oversee payroll administration and employee benefits.

· Coordinate seasonal employee onboarding and offboarding.

· Maintain HR policies and ensure legislative compliance.

· Support health and safety initiatives, workforce planning and organizational development.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications / Experience

· CPA designation (or working toward completion) preferred

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline

· 5–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience

· Experience in hospitality, private clubs, golf, hotels or service industries is considered a strong asset

· Experience with Jonas Club Management software is an asset

· Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills

Why Join Camelot?

At Camelot, you'll become part of an ambitious and visionary leadership team, dedicated to continuous improvement and delivering an exceptional member experience. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions, modernize business processes, and help shape the future of one of Canada's leading private clubs.

If you're looking for a position that offers far more than traditional accounting responsibilities—and one where your ideas and leadership can make a meaningful impact—we'd like to hear from you.
