1475262 BC LTD, operating as Huckleberry’s Family Restaurant, is looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team. As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day success of our restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations throughout both the dining room and kitchen while maintaining high standards of customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and team performance. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering great guest experiences, and can confidently lead a busy restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficient and consistent service.
  • Supervise and support front-of-house and kitchen staff.
  • Coordinate daily workflow between service and kitchen teams.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, food safety, and customer service.
  • Prepare staff schedules, assist with training, and support employee development.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplies.
  • Help control labour costs, food costs, and operating expenses.
  • Review sales reports and assist with achieving business goals.
  • Address customer concerns professionally and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
  • Use POS systems and reporting tools to monitor restaurant performance.
  • Provide regular updates to ownership regarding operations and staffing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly to ensure a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing daily restaurant operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, labour management, and inventory control.
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and team development.
  • Comfortable using POS systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
  • Hospitality, Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related education is considered an asset.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to long-term employment.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent with 35-40 hours/week
