  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Complete new equipment installations and startups at customer locations
  • Read and interpret exploded parts diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical service manuals
  • Communicate clearly with restaurant owners, operators, grocery managers, and kitchen staff on-site to explain issues, solutions, and timelines
  • Provide verbal and phone-based troubleshooting assistance to remote clients and service partners across Canada
  • Document service work accurately, including parts used, labour time, and recommended follow-up
  • Maintain your service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory in clean, organized condition
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for weekend and after-hours service coverage as needed
  • Collaborate with the service team, parts department, and warehouse to coordinate parts availability and scheduling

Mandatory Qualifications

  • G2 Gas Technician license/certificate (proof required)
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read exploded parts diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical manuals
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Hardworking, dependable, and able to work independently in the field
  • Comfortable working in commercial kitchen environments (heat, confined spaces, rooftop units)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience servicing commercial foodservice equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, combi ovens, dishwashers, refrigeration, ventilation)
  • Refrigeration certification
  • Experience with major commercial foodservice brands
  • Experience with warranty service processes and documentation

What We Provide

  • Company service vehicle
  • Company phone plan
  • Tools and equipment required for the role
  • Extended health care, dental, life insurance, and AD&D
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Vacation and paid sick days
  • On-call standby compensation
  • Training and professional development
  • Supportive, family-owned work environment

Working Conditions

  • Field-based role covering Southern Ontario, with head office support in Oakville
  • Work is performed on-site at customer locations including restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, and institutional kitchens
  • Exposure to heat, grease, confined spaces, and rooftop equipment
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working on ladders
  • Standard hours Monday to Friday, with on-call rotation for evenings and weekends as needed
