Overview
Fiorino, Italian Street Food is looking for one experienced dishwasher/kitchen steward to help bring our team to the next level!

We are a Michelin Bib Gourmand and Gambero Rosso awarded restaurant, with two locations in Vancouver's Chinatown and with our new location in the Lonsdale Quay! (And only 10-15 mins from DT Vancouver via seabuss)

We take pride in serving Italian fare in a casual setting with fine dining service standards. We are expanding our culinary team for our new Lonsdale location to help ensure our guests continue to receive the best dining experience, and are looking for a key members to have a role promoting our positive team environment during our busiest times!

The role is Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward, assisting the Head Chef and management team in driving sanitation program forward, taking on additional cleaning tasks, and helping the kitchen team with any small jobs needed too execute our best services. This candidate is required to have a minimum 1 year experience in a comparable restaurant position. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS A REQUIREMENT

Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning/sanitizing plates, cutlery, and kitchen wares during service using dishwasher/sanitizer machines.
  • Daily self management to ensure completion of tasks assigned by chefs.
  • Understanding of safety protocols with chemicals and proper food safety handling and sanitation practices.
  • Follow directive and leadership from management team.
  • Foster a positive work environment and culture through effective communication and teamwork.
