Part time evening dishwasher wanted for dinner service at award winning restaurant

Brasserie L'Ecole. Tuesday through Saturday . Closed Sunday and Monday.

Wage

$20 per hour plus tips (~$4 per hour)

Extended Medical and Dental Benefits available for full time work

Company Overview

Brasserie l'Ecole is one of Victoria's iconic farm-to-table restaurants with nearly 25 years as local favourite. We are looking for a keen dishwasher to work Fridays and Saturdays to start with the possibility to add shifts in the future should that be a good fit for both of us. You would be working in a positive spacious kitchen alongside an amazing team cooking up delicious French food in historic Chinatown.

Responsibilities would include:

· Monitoring chemical levels and maintaining working order of dishwashing machine

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen including washing dishes, pans, utensils and equipment.

· Assist teammates with prep cooking tasks as needed

Experience

· Previous restaurant experience whether it is in food prep or dishwashing is preferred but not required

· Cleanliness and organization are required for successful time management

· Must communicate well in a team setting both in terms of expressing your own needs and listening for the needs of your teammates.

You will be served a delicious staff meal each shift in addition to optional staff dinner outings on days we are closed. Start date is as soon as possible and we look forward to meeting you!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
