As a Stock Clerk, you’ll play a key role in keeping our market and deli running smoothly by ensuring shelves are stocked, displays are organized, and products are rotated efficiently. You’ll work closely with our store and deli teams to maintain an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Merchandise Organization: Efficiently organize and stock merchandise on store shelves and displays to maintain a well-organized and attractive shopping environment.
  • Pricing and Labeling: Ensure that products are accurately labeled and priced, helping customers find information easily.
  • Customer Assistance: Assist customers in locating items and answer any product-related questions, providing excellent customer service.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including aisles, shelves, and storage areas, to create a pleasant shopping atmosphere.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting and handling techniques, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Delivery Operations: Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages from the warehouse to the store. Plan and follow designated routes for timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload packages from the vehicle using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and completing necessary paperwork.

What You Have:

  • Experience: Previous experience in retail, warehouse, or grocery settings is an asset (training provided).
  • Knowledge: Basic Italian Food Products
  • Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Adaptability: Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in stocking, pricing, and record keeping.
  • Physical Requirements: Comfortable standing for extended periods and safely lifting up to 50 lbs using proper techniques. Reasonable accommodations will be provided where required.
  • Driver’s License: Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record (for delivery duties).
