Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Crew Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the food industry, providing hands-on experience in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation while delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently.
  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Making chicken skewers and lifting 35-30lbs boxes, marinate meats, etc.
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
  • Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cashiering, and POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is desirable but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
