Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to develop innovative and enticing menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and unique flavor combinations.
- Supervise and participate in the preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes, ensuring they meet the highest quality and presentation standards.
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including scheduling, ordering supplies, and managing inventory.
- Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and other team members.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance culinary skills, techniques, and knowledge among the kitchen staff.
- Ensure adherence to standardized recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency and exceed guest expectations.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, receive feedback, and create memorable dining experiences.
Requirements:
- 2 + years of proven experience as a Chef/Sous Chef
- Strong leadership qualities
- Quality and Detail-Oriented
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work 1-7 days a week
Compensation : $25+/hr, depending on your experience and skill level
Schedule: Flexible shifts available – 4, 8, 10, or 12 hoursMorning and evening shifts Monday to Friday & weekend availability required
