Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing international cuisine, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a passion for food prep, be able to take and follow directions, and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with kitchen staff and other team members.
  • Cut, chop and prepare food accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
  • Follow specific cooking techniques to create various dishes.
  • Practice good hygiene when handling food.
  • Be able to explain to wait staff the ingredients of the dishes they are serving.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
