Full job description

Part-Time Sales Partner — AI Restaurant PlatformRealistic Part-Time Earnings: $40,000–$60,000 CAD/Year (Commission-Based)

Flexible hours. Work around your existing job. Get paid for relationships you already have.

The Opportunity

If your work already puts you in front of restaurant owners, you have something most salespeople spend years trying to build: direct access and earned trust.

We are looking for part-time independent sales partners who want to turn those existing relationships into a meaningful second income — typically 10–15 flexible hours per week, on your own schedule.

No territory restrictions. No quotas. No micromanagement. You run your own book of business. We make the product easy to sell.

What You Can Realistically Earn

We believe in transparent math, not vague promises:

  • $500 commission per closed annual software subscription (standard $199/month plan)
  • Additional commission on every hardware sale — most restaurant clients purchase hardware alongside the software, meaningfully increasing your per-deal earnings
  • Between software subscriptions and hardware commissions, partners closing 5–8 deals per month — very achievable with warm restaurant-owner relationships — can realistically earn $40,000–$60,000 per year
  • No cap on deals or earnings
  • Paid monthly on signed and activated contracts

For partners with strong existing networks, your first deals often come from conversations you are already having.

What You Are Selling

DetectVision is an AI-powered restaurant management platform starting from $199/month. It helps restaurant owners manage labor scheduling, control inventory, prevent theft and POS fraud through real-time AI visual monitoring, and forecast customer traffic — all from a mobile app.

It is a tangible, demonstrable product that solves problems restaurant owners experience every day. Most owners understand the value within a single conversation.

What We Bring to the Partnership

We have built the infrastructure so you can focus on relationships and closing — not on figuring things out alone.

Sales readiness from day one. Before you meet your first prospect, you will have completed our product training, practiced with a live demo environment, and received a full suite of sales materials: pitch decks, one-pagers, ROI reference tools, and real customer case studies.

A product team behind every deal. Have a prospect with a technical question? We answer it. You are never on your own in front of a customer.

Regular online seminars you can bring prospects to. We host recurring industry seminars for restaurant owners. As a sales partner, you can invite your prospects directly — a professional, low-pressure way to open doors and advance conversations.

Clean back-office support. We handle contracts, onboarding, and billing. Once you close a deal, we take it from there.

Performance bonuses for top partners. We recognize and reward partners who close consistently.

A Path to Something Bigger

Partners who close three annual plans within one quarter may qualify for a permanent sales position with our company. Let's discuss the opportunity once you reach this milestone!

Who This Works For

This works best as a part-time income stream for people who already have a natural reason to talk to restaurant owners:

  • POS / point-of-sale system sales (Toast, Square, Lightspeed, or similar)
  • Food, beverage, or ingredient supplier sales (meat, seafood, produce, dry goods, etc.)
  • Restaurant equipment, kitchen supply, or fit-out sales
  • Restaurant consumables or supplies sales (packaging, uniforms, cleaning products, tableware)
  • Delivery or reservation platform business development (DoorDash, SkipTheDishes, OpenTable, etc.)
  • Restaurant software customer success or technical support
  • Commercial insurance with restaurant clients
  • Current or former restaurant manager or general manager with active owner relationships

If your background is not on this list but you have genuine access to restaurant owners, we still want to hear from you.

You should be:

  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently on a part-time schedule
  • Motivated by results and unbothered by rejection
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area or Greater Vancouver, with reliable transportation
  • Eligible to work in Canada as an independent contractor

We do not require a degree, a tech background, or prior software sales experience.

How to Connect

Send your resume to admin@renrobots.com

Include a brief note on:

  • Your current or most recent role and how it connects you to restaurant owners
  • Your city — Prefer Greater Toronto or Greater Vancouver

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Application question(s):

  • Does your current or most recent role give you direct access to restaurant owners or owner-operators (the people who make purchasing decisions), rather than only managers or staff?
  • Do you currently have an established network of restaurant clients or contacts that would allow you to start conversations within your first 1–2 weeks?
  • How many restaurant owners could you realistically get a meeting with in your first 30 days? (Open answer)
