Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a vital role in maintaining the bar's cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable.
  • Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service best practices.

Experience

  • Previous bartending experience is preferred ; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Experience in cash handling and cashiering is beneficial.
  • Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
  • A background in food service or restaurant operations is an advantage.
