Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Food Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be our customer's first point of contact, providing them with outstanding service while handling food orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers with a warm and friendly demeanour, taking their food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks according to our standards and customer preferences.
  • Efficiently handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food counter and surrounding areas, regularly sanitizing equipment and surfaces.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food handling and hygiene practices.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory as needed.
  • Collaborate with grocery store staff to ensure a smooth operation and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
