Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Server/Host/Cashier. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional guest experiences in a vibrant dining environment. Candidates with a passion for hospitality, food service, and guest relations will thrive in this position. Prior experience in fine dining, restaurant operations, or food industry settings is a plus, but we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, professional presentation, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar POS systems such as ligthspeed POS
  • Seat guests promptly and assist with table assignments, ensuring smooth flow of service
  • Take customer orders accurately, utilizing POS systems for food and beverage entry
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering guest relations
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events such as nightclub nights
  • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and restaurant policies to inform guests effectively

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a server, host/cashier, or in food service is preferred; hospitality or restaurant experience is highly valued
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Lightspeed POS or OpenTable is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently
  • Ability to confidently upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and sales
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Experience in fine dining or nightlife environments is an asset
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
