Business Development Manager – Immigration & Recruitment Services

Location: Canada (Travel Required Across Provinces)

About the Role

Nationwide Immigration and Recruitment Services is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our employer network across Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with Canadian employers, recruitment partners, industry stakeholders, and immigration professionals to support workforce solutions, recruitment services, and employer engagement initiatives.

This position requires a dynamic professional with exceptional networking, sales, relationship-building, and business development skills who can represent the organization across Canada and identify new opportunities for growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesEmployer Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, approach, and onboard Canadian employers seeking workforce solutions and recruitment support.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with employers across various industries, including healthcare, construction, hospitality, transportation, manufacturing, agriculture, retail, information technology, and skilled trades.
  • Conduct business presentations, meetings, and consultations with employers regarding recruitment and workforce planning solutions.
  • Understand employer hiring challenges and recommend appropriate recruitment strategies and talent acquisition solutions.
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospective employer clients.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Establish strategic partnerships with recruitment agencies, staffing firms, industry associations, chambers of commerce, and business organizations.
  • Develop relationships with immigration professionals, including licensed consultants, lawyers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Attend networking events, trade shows, conferences, and business forums to generate leads and expand the company's presence.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments for organizational growth.

Workforce Solutions & Recruitment Promotion

  • Educate employers on available workforce planning and international recruitment pathways.
  • Promote recruitment services that help employers address labour shortages and workforce gaps.
  • Assist employers in understanding the benefits of accessing qualified global talent where appropriate and lawful.
  • Coordinate with internal recruitment and immigration teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery.

Travel & Client Engagement

  • Travel extensively across Canada to meet employers, business owners, recruitment partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-person presentations, consultations, and partnership meetings.
  • Represent the company professionally and maintain a strong industry presence.

Sales & Performance Management

  • Achieve monthly and annual business development targets.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends.

QualificationsRequired

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, International Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, recruitment, staffing, immigration services, workforce solutions, or B2B sales.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and developing client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Canada.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as required.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales management tools.

Preferred

  • Experience in recruitment, staffing, workforce development, immigration consulting support, or international talent acquisition.
  • Existing network of Canadian employers and business contacts.
  • Understanding of Canadian labour market trends and employer workforce challenges.
  • Knowledge of employer-focused immigration and recruitment programs is considered an asset.
