Full job description

Toronto landmark and 24 hour staple, 7 West Café, located in the heart of downtown near Yonge and Bloor.

Must be able to:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of foods and orders at once, in an efficient and timely manner while also following house standards.
  • Work in a fast paced environment.
  • Understand flavour profiles of the items on the menu.
  • Verify requirements for quality and quantity.
  • Read food order slips and/or receive verbal direction.
  • Restock and prepare food for incoming shifts.
  • Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards at all times.
  • Receive and store deliveries.
  • Lift heavy objects.

Qualifications:

-Proven ability to be a motivational team player.
-Preferred 2-3 years experience.
-Food Handler Certificate.
-Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast paced environment.
-Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
-Results-driven.
