As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on, energetic, and experienced Assistant General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading people, building strong teams, maintaining high operational standards, and being actively involved in the day-to-day success of the restaurant.

As AGM, you will work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, drive exceptional guest experiences, support team development, and help achieve operational and financial goals.

We’re looking for a leader who leads by example, takes ownership, and brings positive energy to the team every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • ⁠Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional service.

⁠ Lead, motivate, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house team members.

⁠ ⁠Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.

⁠ Maintain high standards of guest service and ensure customer concerns are handled promptly and professionally.

⁠ Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain food quality, presentation, consistency, and ticket times.

⁠ Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, workplace safety, and compliance with health and safety standards.

⁠ Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, presentation, and overall guest environment.

⁠ Manage POS operations, cash handling, daily sales procedures, and reconciliation.

⁠ Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, minimize waste, and support effective food and beverage cost control.

⁠ Help implement procedures and systems that improve efficiency, service, and profitability.

⁠ Support opening and closing procedures and ensure all operational standards are consistently followed.

⁠ Lead by example during busy services and remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented under pressure.

⁠ Work closely with the General Manager to achieve sales, labour, service, and profitability targets.

What We’re Looking For

  • ⁠Proven experience in a restaurant management, hospitality, or supervisory leadership role (4+ years).

⁠ Strong understanding of restaurant and bar operations, including both FOH and BOH.

⁠ Experience leading, training, coaching, and developing a diverse team.

⁠ Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

⁠ Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food-handling practices.

⁠ Experience with POS systems and cash-handling procedures.

⁠ ⁠Ability to understand sales, labour, inventory, and food-cost controls.

⁠ A positive, energetic, and professional leadership style.

⁠ Ability to make sound decisions and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.

⁠ ⁠Strong customer-service mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality.

⁠ Previous restaurant, hotel, or full-service hospitality management experience is highly valued.
