Pinnacle International Hospitality Group operates a collection of hotels and restaurants across the Lower Mainland. We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for our Japanese restaurant concept, joining a growing portfolio that includes Tutto Restaurant and Bar in Yaletown and Pier 7 Restaurant and Bar on the North Shore.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager with a passion for Japanese cuisine and hospitality, and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example, works well under pressure, and takes pride in running a consistent, well-organized operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring consistent service standards
  • Hire, develop, and retain a strong team
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests and staff alike
  • Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service execution
  • Drive financial performance by managing labour, costs, and inventory
  • Market the restaurant and drive sales
  • Uphold health, safety, and compliance standards at all times

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a Japanese or Asian dining concept
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and guest-facing skills
  • A keen eye for detail and service standards
  • Familiarity with Japanese dining culture, etiquette, and service style is a strong asset
  • Local experience in a reputable restaurant group is a strong asset

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
