Full job description

JINYA Ramen Bar - Brentwood is seeking for an experienced server to join our FOH team on a FULL Time basis.

We are a busy Japanese Ramen restaurant with an expansive ramen and tapa menu located at the heard of the Amazing Brentwood mall in Burnaby BC. We are 3 mins walk from Brentwood skytrain station.

To qualify:

  • at least 2 years serving experience in a busy Japanese restaurant
  • you can commit at least 4-5 shifts per week (30 hours or more), must be available Monday to Thursday.
  • fluent in English
  • able to handle pressure
  • good character, friendly, out-going, positive attitude
  • able to follow instructions and work in a team
  • able to learn and adapt quickly
  • you must have Serve It Right certification

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests
  • Introduce menu, food and drink items
  • Taking orders with POS
  • Run food
  • Present bill
  • Take payment
