Full job description

Steamworks Brewpub is looking for people to join our Kitchen team. We are currently hiring Line Cooks & Prep Cooks for our Daytime or Evening Shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare food for restaurant guests
  • Cook menu items to spec
  • Perform inventory checks
  • Ensure recipe ingredients are checked for quality on a consistent basis
  • Help develop new menu items
  • Ensure kitchen is held to the highest health and sanitation standards at all times
  • Continually look and recommend ways to improve processes, procedures, and reduce coasts

Performance Expectations:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Recognize when help is needed and not be afraid to ask for help
  • Positive and eager to learn
  • Possess a great attitude
  • Professionalism in all interactions with guests, staff, and co-workers

Experience Required:

  • Several years experience in a high volume kitchen (an asset)

Shift Times:

  • 9am-5pm

OR

  • 5pm-1am
