Overview

Freshslice Pizza in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver is looking for an experienced, reliable, and energetic team member to join our team.Join our vibrant team as an Experienced Pizza Team Member, where your passion for food and exceptional service will shine! If you have a knack for creating delicious pizzas, enjoy engaging with customers, and bring a lively energy to the kitchen, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Prior experience with Freshslice-style pizza is highly valued, but most importantly, we’re looking for motivated individuals eager to grow in a fast-paced, food-loving environment. This paid position offers a chance to develop your skills in food preparation, cooking, and customer service while working alongside a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble pizzas with precision and attention to quality standards
  • Cook pizzas and other menu items efficiently using proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Serve customers promptly and courteously at the counter or drive-thru, ensuring a positive experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in meal preparation, including ingredient prep and portioning to ensure consistency
  • Follow all food safety protocols during food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
  • Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between food prep, cooking, and customer service

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in pizza or similar fast-paced settings
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience including meal preparation and food industry familiarity is highly desirable
  • Enthusiasm for learning new skills and contributing positively to team dynamics
