Full job description

Are you outgoing and energetic? Want to work in one of the most beautiful settings in all of the Bow Valley? Mt Norquay is currently hiring for Guest Services agents for our Via Ferrata tour. We are looking for friendly and outgoing people to help during our Summer operations including the sightseeing chairlift and Via Ferrata guided tours right to the top of Norquay! Please note, we are looking for someone who can begin immediately, this positon may extend to winter but the start time is August 2026.

  • Providing friendly, professional, and efficient customer service to all guests
  • Assisting guests with ticket purchases, activity bookings, and general inquiries
  • Processing transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system
  • Answering phone calls, emails, and guest questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing information about resort activities, attractions, events, and services
  • Assisting guests with reservations, waivers, and activity check-ins
  • Resolving guest concerns and escalating issues when necessary
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming guest services environment
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and daily operational duties as required
  • Supporting other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Cash handling and point-of-sale experience considered an asset
  • Previous work at a ski resort, tourism attraction, or hospitality business considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Able to perform tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Wear company uniform at all times and adhere to grooming policies
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
