About Us:
Youth First Miramichi is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing growth and promoting self-reliance in children, youth, and families through a trauma-informed approach and recognizing individual strengths.

Role Overview:
The Program Manager oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring programs meet current standards. This role involves staff supervision, program development, compliance, and fostering professional growth among team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate programs to align with organizational goals.
  • Supervise staff, manage schedules, payroll, and ensure proper training.
  • Maintain compliance with policies, legislation, and professional standards.
  • Oversee client records, budgets, and risk management.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and draft reports for management and funders.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences / Management, Youth Care, or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, databases, and communication tools.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis management skills.
  • Training in Trauma Informed Care/ARC Model

Additional Requirements:

  • First Aid/CPR, ASIST/SAFETALK, and NVCI certifications are assets.
  • Own transportation with proper insurance.
  • Criminal Records and Social Development checks required.
