HIRING IMMEDIATELY | $52/hour | Calgary Plumbing Foreperson | Red Seal | Early Friday Finish | Full Benefits + 1.5x OT

Analog Mechanical is actively hiring an experienced Plumbing Foreperson to lead field crews on commercial and multi-family projects across Calgary and surrounding area. If you hold a Red Seal, know your way around a job site, and want to step into a leadership role that actually respects your time — read on.

$52/hour | 1.5x overtime pay

Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:45 PM

Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM (early finish — every week, not just sometimes)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll lead a field crew on commercial and multi-family plumbing installations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to code. Your day-to-day will include:

Supervising and coordinating daily activities of field staff to meet quality and schedule targets

Reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project plans for your crew

Providing project updates and reports to management and clients as required

Ensuring all work complies with the Alberta Building Code, company policies, and safety regulations

Mentoring apprentices and junior crew members with on-the-job training and guidance

Identifying and troubleshooting installation issues — you find solutions, not excuses

Maintaining accurate records of work progress, inventory, and site challenges

Communicating with project managers, field supervisors, and other trades for smooth workflow

Conducting quality control checks on plumbing and mechanical system installations

Enforcing health and safety compliance and conducting regular site inspections

Coordinating manpower, equipment, tools, and material deliveries as needed

Representing Analog Mechanical professionally with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

WHAT YOU BRING (Required)

Journeyperson Plumber / Gas Fitter certification — Red Seal preferred and strongly valued

Minimum 5 years of journeyperson experience in commercial or multi-family plumbing

Valid Class 5 driver's licence

Valid CSTS certification

Strong knowledge of Alberta plumbing, gas, hydronic, and barrier-free codes

Proven ability to lead a crew and hold people accountable

Sharp problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset

Strong communication and teamwork — you keep the job site running

YOU'LL STAND OUT WITH

Previous supervisory or foreperson experience overseeing field staff

Experience in both commercial and multi-family mechanical installations

Track record of completing projects on time and within scope

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role is site-based — primarily commercial and multi-family construction and renovation projects in Calgary and surrounding area. This is a physically demanding role that includes lifting, climbing, and working in varied site conditions.
