Grill Chef / Expediter — Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Romano’s Restaurant & Catering, an established family-owned Italian restaurant in Woodbridge, is looking for an experienced Grill Chef / Expediter to join our kitchen team.

This is a key weekend position for someone who is confident on the grill, works well under pressure and can help keep a busy dinner service organized and running smoothly.

Schedule:Friday & Saturday eveningsSunday lunch & dinnerWeekend availability is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work the grill station, preparing steaks, chicken, seafood and other menu items
  • Expedite during busy service and ensure dishes leave the kitchen accurately, consistently and on time
  • Coordinate with other kitchen stations to maintain smooth service
  • Assist with catering and event preparation when required
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness and food safety
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–6 years of professional restaurant kitchen experience
  • Strong grill experience is essential
  • Experience expediting a busy full-service restaurant
  • Good knowledge of Italian cuisine
  • Catering experience is an asset
  • Food Handler Certification
  • Reliable, organized and calm under pressure
  • Strong communication and leadership skills during service
  • Must be available Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Compensation:Competitive hourly wage — negotiable based on experience and skill level.

We’re looking for someone experienced, dependable and confident who takes pride in their food and wants a steady position with an established restaurant.
