About the Role

Efficiency Intelligence Ltd. is looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Databricks practice. This is an entry-level inside sales role designed for individuals eager to kick-start their career in technology sales.

Databricks is one of our deepest partnerships. As a Databricks consulting partner, we turn the Databricks platform — the Lakehouse, Unity Catalog, Mosaic AI, Genie, and AI/BI — into shipped outcomes. Your job is to find the companies who need that, earn the first conversation, and create net-new relationships that become qualified pipeline.

Role & Responsibility

Net-new pipeline generation - Outbound prospecting into target accounts via email, LinkedIn, phone, and possibly events, to book qualified meetings for the AE team.

Databricks-fluent outreach - Learn the Databricks platform well enough to start a credible conversation; the Lakehouse, Unity Catalog governance, Genie and AI/BI, Mosaic AI and to recognize the signals that a company is a real fit.

Develop relationships fast - Build working relationships with external stakeholders so they think of zeb when they need a delivery partner, and so you hear about net-new opportunities early.

KPI Driven – Focused on meeting and exceeding goals that are set for the appropriate experience and focus of the individual, recognizing the program has a pre-defined maturity path.

Clean qualification and handoff - Qualify hard before you pass: fit, pain, timing, and the makings of an acceptance event. A meeting that wastes an AE’s time is worse than no meeting. Get sharper at the bar every week.

Technology Support Engine – A heavy focus on using tools necessary to get the work done effectively: CRM, Outreach, Zoom Info, LinkedIn, Claude, while constantly get better at leveraging them to prospect smarter and qualify faster than you did last week.

How we’ll measure you

— Qualified meetings booked and accepted by the AE team.

— Net-new pipeline sourced — and how much of it converts downstream.

— Qualification quality — low fall-out and high acceptance of the opportunities you pass.

— Activity quality and consistency — disciplined outbound, fast follow-up, strong multi-touch sequences.

— Strength of your Databricks field relationships and the co-sell opportunities they generate.

— Personal growth week-over-week and quarter-over-quarter — toward the ideal-BDR standard and the next role on your path.

Qualifications

— High school graduation or its equivalent degree.

— Proficient fluency in English, both written and vertbal.

— Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to meet new people electronically.

— Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools. LinkedIn, Outreach, CRM knowledge is beneficial

— Coachable and self-improving. Willing to take active feedback / coaching to be developed into role

— A genuine interest in learning technological concepts & processes.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
