Fireweed Camps Ltd. is a progressive and innovative business with a focus on providing exceptional catering and janitorial services to our clients. Fire season is upon us and we are looking for interested applicants to fill the following positions:

  • Camp Chefs
  • 2nd Cooks
  • 3rd Cooks
  • Bakers
  • General Helpers/Dishwashers
  • Janitors/Housekeepers

Job Summary:

To provide catering and janitorial services for the Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resource and Wildfire Management Branch. Create and serve outstanding gourmet meals for the WMB while maintaining a safe, clean work, and rest environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED Food Safe Level 1 certificate (Bakers, 2nd, 3rd Cooks, and General Helpers).
  • REQUIRED Food Safe Level 2 certificate (Chef positions).
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle or form of transportation.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous hospitality experience.
  • Physical capabilities of working in a fast paced environment.
  • Culinary training and/or Janitorial experience.
  • Ability to work in remote locations.

Compensation:

  • We offer competitive wages based on experience.
