Overview

Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed therapists with patient setup, positioning, and equipment preparation for therapy sessions
  • Support patients during therapeutic exercises by providing encouragement and ensuring proper technique
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and therapy equipment to uphold safety standards
  • Document patient progress and session details accurately within electronic medical records systems
  • Monitor patient safety during activities, reporting any concerns or adverse reactions promptly
  • Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing therapy supplies
  • Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages patient engagement and confidence

Requirements

  • Will train suitable candidates.
  • College certificate/diploma from a 1–2 year program preferred.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates required.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Client-focused, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic setting with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks.
  • Criminal record check required.
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
