In this rewarding role, your expertise will help employees miss fewer shifts, return to work faster from injuries, and have most importantly have time for self care. Patients will recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs, incorporating discharge planning and follow-up strategies.
• Provide hands-on therapy specific to your discipline, such as trigger point therapy, physiotherapy techniques, or acupuncture to promote healing and pain relief.
• Conduct assessments in acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, to evaluate patient conditions accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across inpatient, outpatient, hospital, and home health environments.
• Maintain detailed documentation using an electronic records system, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and anatomy knowledge standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health outcomes.
• Assist with care planning for diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatric patients while adhering to best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in your related therapy field within inpatient, outpatient, clinic, or hospital settings.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology necessary for accurate assessments and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with electronic record systems for efficient documentation and communication of patient progress.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and education of patients.
• Valid licensure or certification relevant to your therapy discipline
• Experience working with diverse populations such as pediatrics or geriatrics is highly desirable.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week

• Graduated from a 2,200-hour, minimum two-year Massage Therapy Program at an accredited or approved institution
• Member in good standing with MTAM, NHPC or RMTSMB

Licence/Certification:

• CPR level C Certification (required)
