Role Overview

Are you a dynamic leader who is passionate about making a difference in healthcare?

We're looking for an experienced Regional Director to lead a growing region of multidisciplinary rehabilitation professionals within the Greater Toronto Area. In this senior leadership role, you'll shape regional strategy, develop high-performing leaders, strengthen customer partnerships, and drive operational excellence while ensuring exceptional client outcomes.

As Regional Director, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership for a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation region, leading Regional Managers to deliver exceptional client outcomes while driving business growth, operational excellence, and employee engagement. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of the region through leadership development, customer partnerships, and collaboration with senior leadership.

Base Salary Range: $85,000 – 110,000
Incentive Plan: This position is also eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan of up to an additional 12% of annual earnings. Incentive awards are based on financial performance, business development and quality of work, and team building and culture in accordance with the terms of the plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead multiple Regional Managers and clinical teams.
  • Develop and execute regional business strategies.
  • Partner with senior leadership on organizational initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

People Leadership

  • Coach and develop Regional Managers and clinicians
  • Build high-performing, engaged teams.
  • Support recruitment, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.

Business Development

  • Grow referral relationships.
  • Represent the organization within the legal, insurance and healthcare communities.
  • Identify market opportunities.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure exceptional client care and service quality.
  • Oversee regional performance metrics.
  • Resolve escalated operational concerns.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical and operational practice.

What You Bring:

Leadership

  • Experience leading leaders or multiple teams.
  • Ability to coach and develop managers and front-line staff.
  • Strong decision-making skills.

Business

  • Business development experience.
  • Customer relationship management.

Operations

  • Experience overseeing multi-site operations.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities.

Communication

  • Executive presence.
  • Relationship builder.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Comfortable representing the organization externally.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent, registered in good standing, in one of the following disciplines: Occupational Therapy (OT), Physiotherapy (PT), Social Work (MSW), Nursing (RN)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best rehabilitation and case management principles
  • Strong leadership skills and at least two years of managerial experience in a consultative health services environment
  • Strategic, innovative, and creative approach to challenges and opportunities
  • Excellent time management skills and collaborative mindset
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, teach, and mentor others.
  • Clinical experience with traumatic brain injury considered an asset
  • Experience managing multiple teams
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the region.
