Job Advertisement: Seasonal Yard Person – Harvest

Ravenswood Agriculture Inc.
Regina, Saskatchewan

Position: Seasonal Yard Person (Harvest)
Type: Full-time, Seasonal (Harvest Period – typically August to October, with potential for extension)
Location: Ravenswood Agriculture Inc. farm site, near Regina, SK

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Seasonal Yard Person during the 2026 harvest season. This is a key support role that keeps our grain handling operations running smoothly. You will work outdoors in a fast-paced farm environment, contributing directly to a successful harvest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and run grain augers efficiently and safely
  • Move augers between bins as required
  • Take, record, and test grain samples
  • Perform general yard maintenance and cleanup
  • Operate a pickup truck for moving equipment and materials
  • Serve as meal and parts runner for the harvest crew
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Other duties as assigned to support harvest operations

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous farm or agricultural experience is an asset, but we are willing to train motivated candidates
  • Ability to operate augers, pickup trucks, and basic farm equipment safely
  • Comfortable working long hours outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail for grain sampling and record-keeping
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour, lifting, and standing for extended periods
  • Commitment to safety and following farm protocols
