Regal Security Inc. is seeking Full-Time Security Guards to join our security team that provides critical security services for a prominent hospital in North York. This is an excellent opportunity to use your security knowledge and experience to take on one of the most dynamic forms of security.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison for the hospital by assisting patients, visitors, and hospital staff
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the hospital property to ensure a safe and secure environment, while also enforcing property rules for all visitors and patients.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
• Work closely with hospital staff, emergency responders, and management to support sensitive hospital operations, including:
• Respond to Code Calls
• Monitor patients that are under legal care of the hospital
• Patient Descalation and/or Patient Restraints,
• Provide secure access to restricted areas such as the morgue, while maintaining professionalism, dignity, and respect.
• Other critical incidents.
• Respond to facility issues on the property, such as fire alarms, floods, elevator entrapments, etc.
• Complete accurate reports and incident documentation.
• Perform citizen’s arrests as may be required.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Previous hospital or tactical security experience is preferred.
• Previous Use of Force experience and/or certification will be an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication and report-writing skills.
• Professional, dependable, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Full-time availability for afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
