Experienced HVAC Apprentice / InstallerJob Summary

Rocky Point Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced HVAC Apprentice / Installer to join our growing team.

We are a locally owned, family-run company serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas, specializing in residential heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems.

This position is intended for an apprentice or installer who already has hands-on HVAC installation experience and is looking to continue developing their skills with the goal of becoming a Lead Installer.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of HVAC installation experience, can work with limited supervision, understands proper installation practices, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Install residential heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems
  • Assist with and eventually lead residential HVAC installations
  • Install line sets, drains, controls, and equipment according to manufacturer specifications
  • Assist with equipment startup and commissioning
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
  • Work closely with senior installers to further develop technical skills
  • Follow company installation standards and safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience required
  • Registered HVAC/Refrigeration apprentice preferred
  • Experience installing ductless and ducted heat pump systems
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Valid BC Driver’s License

Experience
