Assistant Project Manager – Masonry

Atwill-Morin | St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador

Atwill-Morin is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team for a new masonry project in St. John’s, NL.

This position will be a 12–18 month fixed-term contract. Applicants may be local to St. John’s or willing to relocate for the duration of the project.

Accommodations will be provided and paid for by Atwill-Morin for candidates relocating to St. John’s.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing new masonry projects (new brick, block, stone, precast)
  • Support estimating, procurement and subcontractor coordination
  • Assist with change orders, RFIs and project documentation
  • Track project costs, progress and invoicing
  • Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
  • Coordinate with site personnel, consultants, clients and subcontractors

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of construction experience preferred
  • Masonry experience is an asset
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work in St. John’s for the duration of the project

Contract Term: 12–18 months
Location: St. John’s, NL
Accommodation: Company-paid accommodation provided for relocating candidates

Compensation will be based on experience

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
