Redacteur Medical jobs

A Quality Assurance Specialist/Medical proof reader will work with medical professionals submitting medical/legal reports to make sure that the final medical report going out to clients is error free and ensures highest quality. This role requires attention to detail, fact checking, research and great customer service.

When reports are received from our medical professionals, the QA specialist carefully reads through each reports along with the accompanying medical documentation. Looking for omissions, errors and inconsistencies, as well as comments the specialist may have made that fall outside of their professional scope. Suggested corrections are offered back to the medical professional where necessary.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position you have a post-secondary degree in health sciences, (preferred but not a prerequisite) and have experience proofreading Independent Medical reports.

You possess the following specific skills and talents:

• Experience reviewing Independent Medical Evaluations, SABS
• Excellent organization and co-ordination skills to follow through on specific file matters, ensure timeliness, comprehensiveness and accuracy of report contents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with medical professionals, to obtain or clarify information, and build the medical roster base
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills to interpret information, and identify specific areas that require further investigation, action etc.
• Assertiveness and a sense of urgency to co-ordinate activities with others, obtain your cooperation and support
• Excellent computer skills in MS Word and Excel
