Are you enthusiastic about delivering outstanding customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environment? Our Deer Park Food Store is offering an excellent opportunity for you! We’re currently looking for a casual Grocery Clerk to join our dynamic team.

We are participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15-24.

Position: Grocery Clerk

Casual: Less than 24 hours per week

Availability: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service

  • Address customer requests in an efficient and friendly manner

  • Unload grocery shipments

  • Receive, organize, and display merchandise

  • Be alert for unauthorized merchandise removal

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Team player with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required

  • Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
