Position Overview:

CFT Recycling is hiring a Clam/Grapple Truck Driver to join our Pembroke yard. This is not an entry-level role — we’re looking for an experienced professional with proven skill operating clam and grapple trucks, a valid AZ license with a clean driving record, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced yard environment. If you bring a strong work ethic, discipline, and the confidence to handle heavy trucks with precision, we want to hear from you.

The wage for this position is $30.00/hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a clam truck to load, unload, and haul scrap metal between the yard and local sites
  • Work closely with dispatch and yard teams to keep material moving safely and efficiently
  • Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance to keep the vehicle in top condition
  • Follow all MTO regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety standards
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining the yard as needed

Qualifications:

  • Valid AZ license in good standing with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Minimum age of 25 (for insurance purposes)
  • Proven experience operating a clam truck — must be confident and skilled
  • Strong understanding of load security, spatial awareness, and safe material handling
  • Reliable, punctual, and ready to succeed in a hands-on, rewarding work environment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Physically able to lift 50+ lbs when required
