Full job description

Step Up Autism Center is a multidisciplinary learning center offering ABA Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Academic Learning Opportunities to Neurotypical and Neurodivergent children. Our goal is to empower our children to grow and succeed by offering them the right environment, supports and a collaborative team that develops personalized and responsive programming. For this role we are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping children and creating an environment that is welcoming, warm and safe.

ABA Therapy

  • Provide one-to-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of the clinical team.
  • Support communication, social skills, daily living skills, and positive behaviour.
  • Collect and record therapy data accurately.
  • Maintain professional communication with parents and team members.
  • Follow all centre policies, safety procedures, and clinical guidelines.

Administrative & Reception Duties

  • Greet children, parents, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
  • Support client intake, enrollment, and administrative paperwork.
  • Maintain organized client and centre records.
  • Assist with general office duties and day-to-day centre operations.
  • Communicate schedule changes and important information to families and staff.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children with autism is preferred.
  • ABA therapy or behaviour therapy experience is an asset.
  • RBT, ABA Therapist, Behaviour Therapist, or related experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with children and families.
  • Basic computer and administrative skills.
  • Reliable, professional, patient, and compassionate.
  • Vulnerable Sector Check required.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
