Full job description

We are seeking a friendly, motivated full-time team member to join our busy, patient-focused optometry practice. We have two locations in the Niagara area, so access to a car is required.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable with computers, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Our optometric assistants are cross-trained and support many areas of the practice, including:

  • Answering phones and scheduling appointments
  • Front desk and invoicing tasks
  • Reviewing doctor’s notes to assist with product selection
  • Pre-testing patients using optometric equipment

Previous optometric or healthcare experience is an asset but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate. Starting hourly wage is based on experience and skills.

This position offers an engaging work environment where you can make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while developing valuable healthcare skills. We welcome motivated individuals eager to grow within the eye care industry.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
