Join Our Team!

We are looking for a professional, organized, and customer-focused Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for students, clients, and visitors while providing essential administrative support that keeps our office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome students, clients, and visitors while creating a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to email inquiries, and assist walk-in clients with registrations and course information.
  • Prepare class schedules, manage attendance records, and maintain student information within WorkplaceNL, Canadian Red Cross, and Energy Safety Canada portals.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform data entry, filing, document management, and general administrative duties.
  • Support the Accounting Department and Management Team with day-to-day office operations.
  • Maintain office, classroom, lunchroom, and common areas to ensure they are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for each training day.
  • Monitor office supply inventory and coordinate orders with vendors.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while handling multiple priorities in a professional manner.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an office administration, reception, or clerical role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize work, and remain calm under pressure.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using POS systems or online databases (considered an asset).
  • A diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (considered an asset).
  • Previous experience in a training, education, or safety environment (preferred but not required).
