Full job description

Looking for a Full-Time Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our amazing team in our bright, modern and paperless facility. Hours will be Mondays 9am-7pm, Tuesdays 9am-5pm, Wednesdays 9am-6pm, Thursdays 7:30am-3:30pm, Fridays 9am-1pmNO WEEKENDS.

Basic Requirements:

  • All aspects of front desk and some dental assisting
  • High level of computer proficiency
  • Must be punctual, reliable and have a flexible work schedule to meet clients needs
  • Dynamic, memorable and engaging professional with outgoing personality
  • Must be quick, proactive, self-disciplined, self organized, and have a good professional attitude towards patients and staff
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated learner who strives for success
  • Office etiquette knowledge and impeccable manners

Administrative Duties:

  • Responsible for optimizing the appointment schedule by ensuring the day is full, with limited gaps.
  • Submit claims and estimates to insurance companies and collect payments.
  • Effectively manage recall system and accurately maintain patient database.
  • Managing patient calls and inquiries about appointments, confirmations, amendments and cancellations.
  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence upon receipt from provider.
