Dental Receptionist -

About the Position:

PLEASE Do Not Apply If you have no dental experience or Training! We are looking for a Dental Receptionist to manage the company’s front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Dental Receptionist responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and performing administrative tasks as needed. This position is part-time with the ability to work full-time if the position is filled.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Dental office required.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to prioritize tasks and complete them accurately.
  • Be able to adapt to change and meet new challenges.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with all types of personnel (customers, patients, staff) and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Be able to maintain regular attendance at work.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all phone calls from patients and caregivers; take patient appointments, and provide basic information about treatment options/decisions, including financial aid/loan options.
  • Greet patients; take new patient histories; fill out necessary paperwork for new patients; schedule patient appointments.
  • Check patients in out of practice and schedule patient follow-up appointments. Answer all phone calls from patients/caregivers/family members regarding treatment options/decisions, including financial aid/loan options. Provide information about treatment options/decisions, including financial aid/loan options, to patients or caregivers.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
