Job Overview
Looking for an energetic and efficient receptionist to join our dental team! Responsibilities include looking after the day-to-day front-end operations of the dental clinic including appointment scheduling, treatment coordination. Dental administrative experience is a must. Looking for a long-term staff member who can grow with our dental clinic. Our clinic has been serving patients for more than 30 years, with long term stable employees. Private owned Solo dentist office. Training available, compensation depends on experience and education.

Duties

  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
  • Oversee billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using dental software
  • Assist with patient inquiries and resolve concerns promptly
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Collect payments as treatments complete
  • Schedule appointments and manage the treatment calendar
  • Explain treatment options, procedures, and costs to patients
  • Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities
  • Coordinate with team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of treatment, optimize workflow
  • Update patient information as necessary

Skills

  • Experience at dental admin is needed (preferred 2+ years)
  • Proficiency with Gold or similar software and electronic dental records systems
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and healthcare regulations
  • Ability to handle budgeting, billing, and insurance claims processing
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with staff and patients
  • Basic phone and computer skills, including typing, using emails, MS Office software, etc required

Monday 8:30 am to 5:30pm.

Tuesday 8:30 am to 5:30pm.

Wednesday 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Thursday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. (Thursday can be shorter hours)

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
