Job Overview
We are now seeking an experienced and fast-paced Senior Property Manager to lead our Residential and Commercial portfolio. This role oversees all aspects of property management including tenant relations, rent collection, and occupancy management with a focus on maximizing revenue through marketing and promotions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading an inhouse team to manage the day-to-day property portfolio.
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract perspective tenants and keep the properties full.
  • Reviewing rental rates taking into account market conditions and targeted increases.
  • Managing accounts receivable, including overdue accounts, revenue tracking, and collections processes.
  • Ensuring notices, bulletins, and other written communications are sent out accurately and on time.
  • Working with maintenance staff and trades to manage repairs.
  • Overseeing tenant communication, ensuring professional standards of service across all interactions and prompt responses.
  • Maintaining detailed records of property activities, financial transactions, notices and communications.
  • Understanding local rules and regulations in the property management industry.

Requirements

  • Proven, long term experience in property management within reputable real estate or property management companies.
  • 5+ years in an executive level property management role.
  • Local experience is an asset.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in sales or tenant acquisition is a plus

Compensation will be based on relevant senior experience.
