Oliver is rapidly expanding in the Calgary real estate market. We focus on sourcing off-market real estate deals and working with homeowners to get them an optimal outcome from their home sale. Our business is built on three offers - a cash offer, our Smart Sale program, and an agent-listing partnership - so sellers always have a path that fits.
Role Overview
Oliver's Real Estate Account Executive nurtures, negotiates, and closes deals with homeowners on properties that meet our investment criteria. You'll work a steady flow of inbound seller leads, present underwritten options, negotiate purchase prices, run due diligence, and close transactions. Underwriting and lead context are AI-assisted - your job is to sell, follow the playbook, and keep the CRM clean.
You do not need prior experience with AI tools or Slack to apply. We provide full onboarding, training, and hands-on setup for every tool we use. What we need is someone who is willing to learn fast and adopt new systems without resistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own inbound seller opportunities from first contact to close
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with homeowners to secure deals at acceptable values
- Build trust with property owners, partner agents, and transaction stakeholders
- Run customer calls, virtual/in-person appointments, and property viewings
- Keep HubSpot accurate and up-to-date - CRM cleanliness is non-negotiable
- Same-day response on inbound leads; reply in-thread on Slack
- Execute Oliver's AI-assisted underwriting packages and conversation guides
Must-Haves
- 3+ years closing high-value deals
- Proven track record negotiating complex contracts
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Tight follow-through; lives in the CRM without being reminded
- Comfortable adopting new tools quickly
- Calgary-based; able to meet sellers and view properties in person
Nice-to-Haves
- Alberta real estate market knowledge
- Real estate investment knowledge - without holding a license
- Baseline construction knowledge
- Prior experience with HubSpot, Claude, or Slack
Important - Licensed Agents
Candidates who currently hold an active real estate license (RECA or equivalent) are not eligible. This includes licensed realtors, associate brokers, and brokers of record. Do not apply if you currently hold a real estate trading license in Alberta or any other province.
Compensation
$60,000/yr base + commission. OTE $100,000+.
