Full job description
End in Mind Capital Inc. (“End in Mind” or “EIM”) is seeking a confident, detail-oriented corporate securities professional who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. The ideal candidate has experience in corporate securities matters for public venture issuers listed on the CSE and TSXV and is business-minded, dependable, and composed under pressure. They are a self-starter who enjoys working collaboratively, takes ownership of their work, and is motivated by continuous learning and professional growth.
As a Corporate Securities Associate, you will play a key role within our Corporate Transactions team. This position requires the ability to manage client files with a high degree of ownership, handling routine securities and exchange filings, and continuous disclosure obligations for a diverse portfolio of public company clients.
This is a client-facing role that demands sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. You will be expected to work autonomously on files while collaborating closely with senior management and team members as needed.
In this role, you will work alongside the Corporate Transactions team to ensure regulatory compliance, efficient transaction execution, and seamless coordination across all parties, including communication with senior management and external advisors.
What Your Days Will Look Like
Leading and managing corporate securities matters, including but not limited to:
- Preparing, reviewing, and filing securities and exchange filings with applicable securities commissions and stock exchanges, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial requirements;
- Managing continuous disclosure obligations, including news releases, material change reports, and other periodic and event‑driven regulatory filings;
- Interpreting and applying Canadian securities legislation, CSA policies, and exchange rules to client transactions and ongoing compliance matters;
- Leading closings of private securities offerings, including disclosure requirements, financings documents, investor tracking, resolutions, and maintaining equity records;
- Managing compliance calendars and deadlines, ensuring timely, accurate filings and proactive issue identification;
- Serving as a primary point of contact for client and senior management inquiries related to governance, disclosure, and regulatory compliance; and
- Supporting with going public and business combination transactions, including coordinating due diligence, drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, and liaising with underwriters, regulators, and external legal counsel.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Has securities paralegal experience supporting securities-related matters;
- Wants to be part of a collaborative team environment focused on delivering outstanding client service;
- Is seeking greater ownership and responsibility over client files and deliverables;
- Has a genuine curiosity and appetite for learning new concepts, regulations, and technologies;
- Is a self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently when required;
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, organization, and professional judgment;
- Communicates effectively and professionally with clients, regulators, and external advisors; and
- Is reliable, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- 3+ years of experience in corporate securities, CSE/TSXV filings, and regulatory compliance;
- Strong working knowledge of Canadian securities laws, CSA rules, and exchange requirements; and
- Familiarity with SEDAR+, SEDI, and exchange filing portals.
