We are seeking a reliable, energetic Labourer who is ready to take on significant hours, including overtime, throughout our construction season. What we offer:

  • The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.00 to $28.00, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you bring:

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
  • Previous experience in physical labour; construction or utility industry experience is preferred
  • Strong work ethic with a self-motivated, team-focused, and positive attitude
  • Experience in shallow utility installation (preferred)
  • The following valid certifications are considered strong assets:
    • Traffic Control Person (TCP)
    • Occupational First Aid (OFA) Levels I, II, or III
    • Fall Protection
  • Willingness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

This role involves a range of job duties, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform a variety of hands-on labour tasks such as digging, trenching, backfilling, lifting, material moving, landscaping, and general site clean-up
  • Safely use and operate construction tools and equipment (training provided)
  • Handle, organize, and store materials; maintain tools and equipment to keep the work site running smoothly
  • Support traffic control operations when required (TCP training available)
  • Carry out other related duties to support crews and project needs
