Full job description

Stable Hand required at Marro Farm, 5 minutes west of Ponoka. No Accommodations provided. This is not a riding or Training position. Ideal Candidate would need to be approximate within 30 minutes away from Ponoka

Where you have worked with horses & for how long?

Looking for someone hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable that pays attention to detail. Must have experience handling horses. Must work well with others but be able to work independently and unsupervised when needed. You must be physically fit to perform this job.

Duties include but are not limited to: feeding, turn in/out, mucking stalls, cleaning paddocks, general cleaning and maintenance (indoors &outdoors)

Driving farm equipment ( tractor, quad,)

Heavy lifting of 65 lb Hay bales.

You need to know how to put halters on, and lead the horses to their paddock.

This position is 8 hour a day & It is 4-5 days a week.
