JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a customer-focused Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages and food items, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating positive guest experiences and upholding brand standards in a fast-paced setting.

Barista Responsibilities:
  • Enthusiastically welcome and greet guests
  • Provide beverage and food product information, selection, suggestion and sales
  • Food and beverage recording, preparation, customer billing and payment settlement
  • Complex activity and amenities information and recommendations
  • Inventory and restocking of sections and supplies
What you’ll need as a Starbucks Barista:
No experience needed. On-site Training provided

Education: Secondary School Graduate Diploma preferred

Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs when moving product boxes
  • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Passion in Starbucks/coffee beverages and mixology
  • Ability to maintain professional composure at all times, regardless of issue, while performing multiple tasks with multiple guests/multiple items/products
  • Highly effective conversational/persuasion/influencing skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team setting to anticipate and assist to another barista’s guests’ needs
  • Ability to quickly respond to changing work volume with high-energy level and speed
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid Niagara Region or equivalent safe food handling certificate
