Full job description

Position Summary:

Winnipeg Clinic is looking for a casual and a part-time, weekday General Duty X-Ray Technologist.

Qualifications and Skills:

Perform high-quality general radiography x-ray examinations.

Ability to assist patient with mobility constraints, position patients accurately while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols (ALARA).

Maintain clean, sanitized exam rooms and ensure equipment is calibrated daily.

Follow oral & written instructions precisely with attention to detail.

Demonstrate effective oral & written communication skills required in English.

Demonstrate ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Proficient analytical skills.

Work well under pressure.

Previous related experience and familiarity with Velox PACS/RIS is preferred.

Excellent organizational/multitasking, communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements:

(Degree/Diploma/certificate) Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)

Professional Designations:

Must maintain active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and the Manitoba Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (MAMRT)

Assets:

Experience with Velox RIS/PACS system is an asset.

Experience with Canon Digital Radiography system is an asset.

Customer Service Experience is an asset.

Pay: $31.60-$41.58 per year
