Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Radiologic Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your expertise in operating radiographic equipment and understanding medical terminology will ensure accurate, safe, and efficient imaging procedures that support patient diagnosis and treatment. This position offers an engaging environment where your technical skills and attention to detail directly contribute to patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images.
  • Operate radiologic equipment, specifically X-ray machine, following safety protocols.
  • Ensure all imaging procedures adhere to established safety standards and medical guidelines to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Review and analyze images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness; make adjustments or repeat scans as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic data.
  • Keep equipment well-maintained, report malfunctions promptly, and assist in inventory management of supplies.

Qualifications

  • Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program is required.
  • Proven knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret physician orders and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Prior experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and safety protocols diligently.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting.
