Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an X-ray Technologist, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. Your expertise in operating X-ray equipment will help physicians accurately diagnose and treat medical conditions. Duties

  • Operate X-ray machines to produce clear and precise images of patients’ bones and internal organs
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Ensure all imaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safely according to health standards
  • Review images for quality and clarity before submitting them for interpretation by radiologists
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
  • Follow strict safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure
  • Collaborate with medical staff to schedule procedures and address patient needs effectively

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating X-ray equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to radiology and anatomy
  • Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients
  • Ability to follow detailed safety guidelines and maintain meticulous records
  • Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
