Consultant Radiologist (Full-Time or Part-Time) – Onsite

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Start Date: Available to start within 12 weeks

Overview

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Consultant Radiologist to join our supportive practice in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Applicants with subspecialty interests are welcomed, and there is flexibility to tailor responsibilities according to current experience and skillset.

About Radiology Associates Inc.

Radiology Associates Imaging has proudly served the people of Lethbridge and Southwest Alberta for over 40 years, providing services across Chinook Regional Hospital, surrounding community hospitals, and several community imaging clinics. RAI provides a full complement of services at Chinook Regional Hospital including.

Lethbridge is a vibrant city of approximately 100,000 people located in beautiful southern Alberta. The city offers an excellent quality of life, short commute times, and immediate access to outdoor recreation. Waterton Lakes National Park and the Rocky Mountains are within easy driving distance, and Calgary is approximately two hours away by road

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include accessing and interpreting imaging through remote connection to PACS system and providing timely, accurate reports. Scope of reading and interpretation can include:

  • Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • CT
  • MRI
  • Plain film
  • Fluoroscopy

There is opportunity for some of the responsibilities to be tailored towards current skillset. Our supportive working environment also provides the opportunity to grow your skillset as well as scope of practice where desired.

Compensation

Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model and may include additional program stipends. Total compensation for fee-for-service billings varies by individual practitioner, and the compensation range shown reflects the average range of wages for this specialty as reported by Alberta Health.

Qualifications

  • Current Alberta Practice Permit or CPSA Letter of Eligibility to practice in Alberta will be required prior to commencement.
  • Licensed as a Medical Doctor in the Province of Alberta
  • Registered with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
  • Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)

Pay: $200,000.00-$500,000.00 per year
